The translational-rotational motion of two rigid bodies - Existence conditions for plane motion
Abstract
From the first integrals of angular momentum, necessary conditions are derived such that the centers of mass of two perfectly rigid bodies can execute translation motion in a single invariant plane. These conditions are satisfied in the case of rigid bodies undergoing regular motions.
