Radiation effects in polymers. Electrical properties
Abstract
Results obtained from experimental studies of the electrophysical characteristics of polymer dielectrics when acted upon by fluxes of ionizing radiation and light are analyzed. Attention is also give to aspects of the generation, migration, and recombination of excess charge carriers, with allowances made for the particular features of a polymer's morphological structure. Ways of using polymer dielectrics in the study of various types of radiation fields are suggested.
