Measurement of the spectral-frequency and correlation parameters and characteristics of laser radiation
Abstract
This work describes methods and techniques for measuring the spectral-frequency and correlation parameters and characteristics of laser radiation, with particular attention given to measurements of spectra, wavelengths, frequencies, polarization characteristics, and coherence. So-called 'metrological' lasers (gas, solid-state, and semiconductor) are examined along with optical measuring elements utilized for the energetic, temporal, and spatial transformation of laser beams. The discussion covers interferometric heterodyne measurement techniques.
