Heat transfer for flows past non-isothermal bodies
Abstract
A theory of heat transfer from arbitrarily nonisothermal surfaces and a related theory for conjugate problems are presented which make it possible to substantially improve the accuracy of heat transfer computations. The cases considered include laminar and turbulent, plane and axisymmetric flows past one side and both sides of a plate. For the majority of problems examined, exact or nearly exact solutions are obtained and implemented on a computer.
