The synthesis of linear electric and electronic networks (the method of state variables)
Abstract
Problems concerning the synthesis of passive and active networks by the method of state variables are examined. It is shown that this approach is useful in cases of the synthesis of networks with active ideal and nonideal elements, including multiport networks. It is noted that the application of the method of state variables for the realization of networks of an arbitrary type leads to the problem of the synthesis of resistive multiport networks. A series of structures is presented which is useful for the realization of chains by means of integrated technology. The characteristics of the application of this method for the synthesis of digital filters are investigated.
