A two-channel polarization radiometer for continuum measurements at the 11 CM wavelength
Abstract
A continuum survey is being conducted using a two-channel radiometer on a 25 m telescope. All four Stokes polarization parameters are being studied. The design of the radiometer is described and important system parameters of the antenna and the radiometer are given. Significant errors are mentioned and numerically evaluated where directly measurable. The current status of the survey is assessed, and a block diagram of the system is given.
