Optically pumped continuous wave submillimeter emissions from H 13COOH: Measurements and assignments
Twenty-one emissions were obtained from the H 13COOH laser optically pumped by a CO 2 laser. Some of them are very powerful and are observed with a low-threshold pumping. They increase the number of strong lines available with submillimeter lasers. A study of the emission spectrum based on the results obtained from the assignment of the 12C isotopic species allowed us to assign most of the observed emissions, and a set of parameters for the ν6 excited state of this molecule is derived from this study. The results obtained were checked by RF spectroscopy inside the cavity of a CO 2 laser.
