Propagation properties of irreversible magnetizing processes in amorphous and crystalline material
Abstract
The random Barkhausen field is investigated for amorphous and crystalline ribbons and an iron wire. The dispersion relation of the cut-off wavenumber kg (ω) of the wavenumber frequency spectrum is determined. The derivative of the correlation length 1/ kg with respect to the correlation time 1/ω as a function of kg-1/ ai ( ai static irreversible range) is proportional to the resistivity and independent of the cross-sectional shape of the samples investigated as far as the irreversible flux propagation by wall displacement is concerned.
