Calculating the effective coefficient of thermal diffusivity in a heterogeneous laminar material
Abstract
Recommendations are made and limiting conditions laid down for calculating the effective coefficient of thermal diffusivity of laminar composite materials. A two-component material comprising layers oriented perpendicular to the direction of heat flow is considered. The contiguous layers are considered to be in ideal thermal contact, with no physicochemical changes occurring between them.
