Use of a numerical method to determine generalized angular coefficients
Abstract
A numerical method is developed for obtaining generalized angular coefficients in the radiative heat transfer problem for arbitrary emitting surfaces. The method, based on the determination of a four-fold integral, makes it possible to investigate the influence of the shape and dimensions of emitting surfaces, as well as the parameters of the emitting gas (e.g., water-vapor temperature and concentration) on the value of the generalized angular coefficients.
