Vorüberlegungen zur Anwendung von satellitengestützten SSMA-Systemen bei Mobilfunk im urbanen Gelände

A town with a problematic receiving situation for a mobile telecommunication system is investigated. Simple calculations are performed using a model with an angle for reflecting streets and house walls and another which considers street ravines to illustrate the influence of the town's environment on the receiving signal of the spread-spectrum receiver. Results can be used to set up minimum requirements for spread-spectrum systems, to plan a measuring program for spread-spectrum systems, and to serve as a planning basis for developing a radio canal simulator.
