Breitbandige Modellmessung von Mißweisung und Trübung bei Watson-Watt-Peilanlagen in stark rückstreuender Umgebung
Abstract
A method of measurement is presented, which permits the determination of bearing errors of Adcock- and loop-direction-finding antennas of reduced size up to approximately 3 GHz using a standard network analyzer. The method provides fast and accurate information on the mobile direction finders and can be applied to wide frequency bands by using swept frequency. A chart for the direct reading of bearing error and blurring is presented, which can be affixed to the screen of a network analyzer rather than the commonly used Smith-chart.
