Sensitivity comparison of symmetric and asymmetric dual-mode bandpass filters
Abstract
Approximately equal sensitivities are found in the symmetric and asymmetric forms of typical, dual-mode filter networks. A trend indicating a rise in sensitivity with increasing distance between the physical cavity and the input and output ports is established on the basis of simulations. The trend may be applicable to the mechanical and thermal design of dual-mode filter networks for spacecraft application.
