Correlation of 6 and 4 GHz depolarisation on slant paths
Abstract
Good correlation between simultaneous 6 and 4 GHz depolarization, and several additional statistical results, are obtained from a 6-month measurement program in a heavy-rainfall equatorial region. The results demonstrate the feasibility of implementing up-link depolarization precompensation using the coincident down-link depolarization as the sole control parameter.
