Analysis of the statistical properties of periodic arrays with local excitation by means of the incomplete Galerkin method
Abstract
The incomplete Galerkin method is developed for the electrodynamic analysis of periodic antenna arrays when the position of the exciter is known with a certain error. The diffraction of the field of a point source by an infinite periodic array is considered, and an expression relating the pattern and the coordinates of the source is obtained. Diffraction by a periodic array of uniform circular dielectric cylinders is examined as an example.
