A readjustment of lumped coefficients from inclination of 1974-70A.
Abstract
The inclination variations of the first satellite of the Netherlands (ANS), 1974-70A, were analyzed by Wakker et al. (1980). Sehnal (1982) developed the theory of a lift force normal to the orbital. The 'normal lift' will effect the inclination of ANS throughout its entire life. Questions arise regarding the reflection of the difference between the 'new' and 'old' corrected inclinations in the change of the values of the lumped coefficients. The 15th and 30th-order lumped values were estimated by Wakker et al. (1980) on the basis of a 'resonant' inclination decrease due to the 15th-order orbital resonance. The present investigation has the objective to reevaluate the lumped coefficients, using the 'new' inclination.
