A photoelectric investigation of Ap-stars in open clusters. III - NGC 2362, NGC 2546, and NGC 3228
Abstract
The search for Ap-stars in open clusters using the photoelectric approach of Maitzen (1976) is continued by an investigation of two young (NGC 2362 and NGC 2546) and one medium age (NGC 3228) galactic clusters. No Ap-stars were detected in NGC 2362, three in NGC 2546 and two in NGC 3228. These stars were not previously known as Ap-stars. The use of B-V (even of photographic photometry) is shown to be as effective for the determination of the delta-a index as b-y in the preceding related papers. Also, systematically variable reddening has been found in NGC 2546.
