Three dimensional field computation
Abstract
Recent research work carried out on the computation of electromagnetic fields is summarized. Algorithms for integral and differential methods for the solution of 3D magnetostatic fields are presented and results compared with experiment. The strengths and weaknesses of both methods for an analytic problem are investigated. Work in progress on the solution of 3D eddy currents using differential finite elements is summarized.
