Goldstone high power radiation control
Abstract
The airspace near Goldstone is shared by many users in carrying out their respective missions. Coordination of Goldstone high power transmitter radiation activity with mutual airspace users near Goldstone is an effective method to prevent aircraft from being exposed to radiation levels greater than 10 mW/sq cm, to allow Goldstone to transmit high power levels for planetary radar experiments and to provide the necessary information to both civil and military aircraft users to enable them to perform their necessary activities.
