Radiation
Abstract
Radiation in the wavelengths extending from 0.2 microns (ultraviolet) to 15 microns (infrared) was studied. The complexity of the calculation of radiative coupling in a satellite is stressed. A computation method, based on certain hypotheses and simplifications, makes possible calculation of this effect in a reasonable amount of time and with acceptable accuracy. Fundamental laws of thermal radiation are given, and applications to modeling radiative heat transfer between different bodies and in the case of real bodies are shown.
