A fast turn-around facility for Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI)

Efforts were made to provide fast turn-around fabrication of silicon integrated circuits for the local VLSI design community. Many of the practical aspects of producing small numbers of custom designed integrated circuits with a short turn around time were persued. The major focus was focus on many of the facilities, equipment, and fabrication issues which affect our ability to fabricate and test these custom designed chips.
