Simulation code of relativistic electron beam diodes
Abstract
The opposing relativistic electron and ion flows in own or applied electric and magnetic fields inside the cylindrical diode were numerically analyzed. A finite size particle quasistatic computer model is developed via self consistent solution by differential equations. The behavior of relativistic electron and ion flux in self consistent electric and magnetic fields near the maximum of voltage pulse is determined.
