Geostationary communication satellite control
Abstract
The requirements for the control of the position and attitude of geostationary communications satellites were examined and some of the principle system parameters and options available are outlined. A number of current systems are compared and the principal limitations of their performance are discussed. The overall communication system trends are indicated and the effect of these upon the design of both attitude and position control is indicated.
