Digital processing of SEASAT SAR data using CRAY-1
Abstract
Digital processing on CRAY-1, a very high speed array processor, was performed and processing time was evaluated, which shows enough speed for the processing of satellite-borne SAR data. Processing time for an area of 100 km by 100 km is 30 minutes. Software is presented, written with FORTRAN for IBM 370/168 and partially vectorized for use with CRAY-1.
