The backward-facing step flow
Abstract
The backward-facing step flow is seem to be a complex interaction of a boundary layer and a constricted shear layer under the influence of an adverse pressure gradient, streamline curvature, and flow recirculation. Using a parametric description of the flow, several dependencies were experimentally established.
