The computation of integral type flexure hinge assembly of dynamically tuned gyroscopes
Abstract
In order to satisfy the requirements of gyroscopic tuning, the degree of the angular displacement stiffness which is designed into the piece of equipment must have a high degree of accuracy. In order to eliminate the error associated with g(2) drift, the axial stiffness and the radial stiffness of the hinge assembly of the gyroscopes being considered should be equal. Design methods for such hinge assemblies are discussed.
