Linear signal processing 1
Abstract
Methods of signal processing emphasizing digital methods applicable to deterministic data are reviewed. Following a discussion of analog to digital conversion, Fourier methods for continuous and sampled data are described, noting the problem of aliasing and the importance of circular convolution. Digital filtering techniques are referred to and methods of 'zoom' analysis are explained. The problem of deconvolution is discussed.
