Adaptive digital control of high-speed rotating-mirror cameras
Abstract
A digital speed controller for high speed rotating mirror cameras is described. The microprocessor based controller employs an adaptive control algorithm to cope with the uncertainties and nonlinearities inherent in the camera system dynamics. Simulation and experimental results that demonstrate the merits of the algorithm are discussed.
