An automatic measurement system for controlling the equipment characteristics of terrestrial mobile radio services
Abstract
The system utilizes a desktop computer and is implemented in three main blocks: the control system, the measurement instrument set, and the peripheral devices set. A bidirectional data bus is employed to interrelate the functional blocks. The prototype central unit has a memory capacity of 64 kbytes with external memories of up to 1,2 Mbytes. The instrument set measures the characteristics of transmitter receivers from 10 KHz to 1 GHz. The system is especially suited for large series equipment production control and maintenance.
