Frequency bands for terrestrial mobile radio services: Frequency assignments in Italy
Abstract
The frequencies assigned by existing regulations are discussed and referred to the 1979 Geneva conference definitions. The problem of frequency assignment priorities, according to the service category qualification, and the consequences of the 1979 conference for mobile services were examined. The conference provisions in the 154 to 230 MHz and 420 to 470 MHz bands are compared with the 1976 Italian frequency assignment plan, using the 156 to 174 MHz and 435 to 470 MHz bands.
