Miss distance indicators
Abstract
This paper discusses the requirements for miss distance indicators, and presents a summary of past and present systems. General scoring techniques are described, together with a brief discussion of present system principles and capabilities. Deficiencies are identified, followed by a discussion of systems under development intended to eliminate these deficiencies.
