The torus antenna over a conducting plane
Abstract
Ground reaction on an active or passive torus antenna whose plane is parallel to the ground, is treated by an iterative method. At first the unperturbed antenna current is impressed along the circle of centers of the torus; then the ground reaction field induced by this loop antenna is computed; this is then inserted into an integro-differential equation for the current density which finally gives the antenna current as modified by the ground reaction.
