The superconducting current densities of five multifilamentary wires with diameters of 0.41 mm and different ratios of bronze to Nb (R = 2 to 3.7) were measured. The superconducting critical currents were measured at 4.2 K in magnetic fields of 8 to 19 T. Effects of heat treatments were investigated.
