Calculation of hydrodynamic interaction of the arbitrary profile cascades in the flow of ideal liquid
Abstract
The paper presents a theoretical study of the influence of blade shape on the intensity of the potential interaction of two moving cascades and the influence of vortex wakes on forces arising on the downstream cascade blades. The effect of the change in the mutual location of the blades is considered, neglecting the previous motion of the blades. The analysis is performed by means of an approximate linearization wherein the shape of vortex wakes remains unchanged in their interaction with the downstream blades; the flow velocity field in the vortex wake range is taken as given.
