System concepts and basic technologies for receiver components of digital radio link systems at 20 GHz
Abstract
As starting point for the system development of digital broadband-transmission at 20 GHz, the optimum modulation code is found considering various boundary conditions. Based on this result the design of the RF-filters for a system was demonstrated. After a refinement of the necessary basic technology design procedures was worked out for planar integrated microwave circuits at 20 GHz, design rules for housing dimensions and minimized length transistions between rectangular and planar waveguides are presented.
