Stability of periodic lasing of negative-feedback solid-state lasers
Abstract
The stability and amplitude stabilization of periodic lasing in a negative-feedback solid-state laser are studied for different levels of intensity limitation. The point mapping method is used to determine the damping rate of intensity fluctuations. Excitation conditions are determined for various periodic regimes depending on initial conditions; and the effect of pumping fluctuations on the amplitude stability of lasing is investigated.
