Elimination of phase distortions in holographic interferometry systems
Abstract
A real-time method is proposed for the suppression of spatial phase distortions in interference patterns. The method is based on the equalization of the intensities of light beams by means of a variable-pass optical filter in the holographic device. The method is described and some results on the elimination of phase distortion are discussed.
