Copper-ion hollow-cathode ultraviolet laser
Abstract
The structure of the copper-ion hollow-cathode ultraviolet laser is described. Five spectral lines were observed; namely, 2486, 2506, 2529, 2591 and 2600 A line. The dependences of the laser relative output power on current and on Ne pressure are discussed. The parameters for the laser generation are narrower than those reported elsewhere partly due to the reflectivities of the output mirrors.
