Laser radiometer IR-100
Abstract
An instrument for measuring CW laser output power in the visible and infrared spectra is presented. The range is for .5-300 W and it is recommended for CO2 lasers. The device works through thermoelectricity, noting that the temperature drop can determine the heat flow. Although measurement errors may appear due to light distribution, this can be eliminated by using a series of thermocouples. The device is useful in laboratory work.
