Flashlamp with a discharge in metal vapor
Abstract
A flashlamp using a discharge in metal vapor is described which is characterized by the fact that a halide of an alkali metal is introduced into a solid amalgam in order to expand the range of wavelengths where there is enhanced intensity of luminescence in individual spectral regions.
