Implementation of a 4DCFSK numerical channel at 34 Mbit/sec: Analytic study and determination of the specifications of the main base band components and of the interface between numerical channels and the FDM-FM radio link
Abstract
The feasibility of implementing terminal equipment in order to adapt an analog radio link in the 6 GHz band to the transmission of a 34 Mbit PCM digital signal is analyzed. The multilevel line coding and the correct segmentation of the received line sequence are studied in particular. A detailed block diagram of the components is described, demonstrating the feasibility of each block, and indicating the integrated circuit families best adapted to each case.
