Specifications for a low capacity Single Channel Per Carrier (SCPC) FM (6 to 4 GHz) Earth station

Specifications are presented for a small-size and low-capacity Earth station for telephony, the laboratory prototype of which is being developed by INPE. Using 6 GHz and 4 GHz frequency bands, ground station is to be employed in a satellite communication network. This network will use frequency division multiple access (FDMA) with single channel per carrier (SCPC), frequency modulation (FM) and voice actived carriers. The Earth station specifications are divided into common equipment specifications and channel equipment specifications.
