The use of fast Fourier transform algorithms to speed the calculation of parabolic antenna radiation patterns
Abstract
A system for reflector antenna simulation, with digital computer was developed. A reduction was achieved in the line for the calculation of the antenna's radiation pattern, through the use of the fast Fourier transform algorithm, associated with the numerical solution of an oscillating double integral, which is part of the mathematical model used in the simulation.
