An analysis is presented of the characteristics of magnetostatic surface waves propagating in a dielectric-ferrite-dielectric structure, metallized from two sides. It is shown that, compared with SAW devices, a magnetostatic-surface wave delay line can be tuned while maintaining a constant delay time in a wide frequency range.
