A coherent-optics processor for spatial-temporal processing of antenna array signals
Abstract
Electrooptical devices are examined for processing space- and time-domain signal information using coherent optics methods. Specifically, attention is given to antenna arrays where directional characteristics are formed by coherent optics methods and where time-domain information is retained at the output of the processor for subsequent use. Devices for input and output of information are examined, and results of some experiments are described.
