Optimal reception of code combinations of signals with a Markovian information parameter
Abstract
The paper examines the optimal reception of code combinations of elementary signals with a Markovian information parameter in discrete communication systems. Attention is given to a simple example: two determinate signals, reception on the background of additive white noise, the signal sequence being a symmetric Markov chain with two states, and different words consisting of two neighboring signals. An expression is obtained for the probability of reception error in a whole word consisting of two FM signals.
