Investigation of a comb-type slow-wave structure for millimeter-wave masers
Abstract
Experimental results show that a comb-type slow-wave structure based on paramagnetic crystals with a moderate dielectric constant (epsilon in the range 5-20) can be successfully used in masers operating in the medium millimeter range (4-8 mm). Results on group-velocity delay and Ohmic losses are discussed.
