Theory of the excitation of media with waveguide-type spatial dispersion
Abstract
An analysis is presented of the excitation of a waveguide by specified sources for media with spatial dispersion. The result of the analysis is the wave amplitude, determined by the current function and wave energy flux. The excitation of a waveguide containing a moving medium is examined, and the excitation of plasma waves in an electron beam is analyzed.
