Fluctuation theory of bremsstrahlung from a bounded plasma
Abstract
Nonlinear fluctuation theory is used to calculate the correlation functions of sources and intensity of bremsstrahlung from a half space of a nonequilibrium plasma in the dipole and quadrupole approximations. The intensity of bremsstrahlung (resonant and nonresonant) is calculated for two nonequilibrium situations arising in the presenceof high-energy components and the directed flux of electrons. The possibility of the anomalous increase of intensity of resonant radiation due to the nonequilibrium character of the system is considered. It is shown that the level of bremsstrahlung at combinational frequencies can significantly exceed the usual level of nonresonant radiation.
