Search for neutral hydrogen in the early universe
Abstract
A status report is presented for the search for neutral hydrogen emission in the early universe that has been conducted in the direction of ten QSOs at z = 2.30, using a 10 MHz bandwidth. The observations so far obtained demonstrate the feasibility of a sensitive search for the redshifted neutral hydrogen emission from protoclusters of galaxies.
